Kristen Stewart: Bring Back the Minis?

After seeing a couple of Kristen Stewart's looks for the Breaking Dawn: Part 1 premier/promo tour, I may have to eat back my words...

To be fair to me (the lawyer in me is constantly trying to justify herself hehe), she was going on red carpet looking like...

She just looks so out of place in this princess-y Oscar de la Renta gown

Her in this Chanel dress just makes me cringe

I know a lot of people loved her in this exquisite Monique Lhuillier creation but I still don't think the look suits her...

But I have to say, she has definitely stepped up her game...

Gorgeous J Mendel dress with a thigh-high baring slit

She keeps the look edgy with her 'cat-eye' make up

I want this Roberto Cavalli dress!!!! Though I don't know where I'd wear it to hehe... This is a look we hardly see her in but the leather waisted belt keeps the look edgy

So what do you guys think? Are you guys liking her glamourous dresses or should she be bringing back the minis? I'm still on the fence... I shall wait for more of her promo tours...

Feminine Blazers

One of the most versatile piece of clothing any woman can have is a nice tailored blazer.

The great thing about blazers are that it can be both casual and formal... You can pair it with a dress for work or just t-shirt and jeans for a relaxed weekend. I love how it instantly smarts up any outfit! It is definitely my go-to item for casual Fridays at the office.

Currently, I have my eye on these very pretty blazers. I love the interesting touches to it that makes each of it so feminine...

Hart of Dixie Looks: Lemon Breeland

As promised...

Current Obsession: Rachel Bilson's new CW show 'Hart of Dixie'... LOVE IT!!!

I've never really noticed Jaime King until this series... In the show, she plays a 'Southern Belle' named Lemon Breeland who's adored by everyone in her small town. So her style in the series matches her Southern Belle character where she's dressed in full-skirted dresses, floral hair accessories, tea dresses and cute little cardigans...

This dress reminds me of Belle from Beauty and the Beast... Hmmm... Belle vs. Southern Belle... coincidence?

I like how although she's wearing yellow all over, the matchy-matchy outfit doesn't look OTT

I love the pairing of the Marc Jacobs multi-coloured maxi dress here with the yellow knit cardigan!

Another yellow cardigan... Does it have anything to do with the fact that her name is Lemon in the show?

Lovin' the Fuchsia cardigan!

I absolutely adore this vintage dress!!! Mostly cause I'm currently crushing on anything 'sea-green'!

This brocade dress is just gorgeous! And it flatters her petite frame. Pity I couldn't get a full length picture of the dress.

Look out for the next post!

Hey! I know I have been M.I.A for a bit but for very good reason: Week-long holiday on a gorgeous beach...

Absolute bliss...

Anyhoo, since I had so much fun with the suggested 'Looks' concept in my previous post, I decided to do another one, this time on the character 'Lemon Breeland' of the new tv show Hart of Dixie. I must admit I've been working on it for awhile but I'm hoping to finish it in the next few days *fingers crossed*

Watch this space!!!

I remember seeing Serena van der Woodsen in  the Gossip Girl series and thinking that her turquoise accessories really make the purple of her dresses *pop*...

My "ASOS-fix"!

I've been a bit depressed about having to go into work so soon after the big day... So naturally, my mind starts to wander at the office and my fingers starts tapping on the keyboard and before I know it, I'm no longer looking at my (gazillion) emails and.... eh, how'd I get to www.asos.com :D Best part is, the SALE is on! Woot woot!

Some of my recent purchases...

I actually wanted this in Mustard but I had to settle for this  'Rabbit Grey' cause it was sold out. I thought this dress would be great to transition from work to after-work drinks.

I LURVE this skirt, especially the colour (Arabian Spice)!

Again, they ran out of the Nude colour that I wanted so I'll just have to work this dress with bold accessories.
p/s - I'm so into midi skirts/dresses right now.
So I'm now waiting as patiently as possible for my new goodies to arrive! Finally! New clothes to wear to work... exciting stuff!

The Super Sweet Selena Gomez

Whoever thought this tiny girl from the Disney shows would grow up to become a lil' fashionista... But then again, whoever would have guessed lil' Miley Cyrus from Hannah Montana would grow up, well... the way she is now...

Anyhoo, let's check out Selena's hot new look!

Goregous ruffled Burberry dress
Love the purple pumps!
Beautiful Dolce & Gabbana dress... She looks so elegant here

Another Dolce dress... This time a very sweet and sexy mini
I like how she manages to look sexy but still decent... Put this outfit and makeup on Miley, 'enuff said.
Till next time!

Why Kristen Stewart Should Stick to Her Minis...

Yes, I know, I'm back after an extremely long hiatus. I was inspired to do a post on the gorgeous Kirsten Stewart when I saw her at the recent MTV Movie Awards. I think my title is rather self-explanatory so let's get straight to it...

Love this gorgeous Valentino mini! Her make-up and hair looks great, the red lipstick really pulls off the look together.

Only she would be noncholant enough to wear this mini with her sneakers. Despite what everyone else was saying, I thought the look works... she's young, it's the MTV Movie Awards, and the dress is the kind that can be dressed up or down.

During the Herve Leger bondage dress era (seriously, everyone who's anyone were wearing them!), I thought a lot of starlets bordered on slutty in those dresses. But Kristen manages to make it look fashionable here. I think her make up and hair has a lot to do with it....
I love this Pucci dress though I'm still undecided on the hair

This RM by Roland Mouret dress is just gorgeous... The detailing is subtle from afar but you can see it from the picture below. And her hair!!! Love it!!!

She looks so sexy in this semi-monochrome GUiSHEM dress. I especially like the unusual hem of this dress and the *surprise* back (below).

*Sigh* That trademark bed-head hair of hers... A look I've tried many times but all attempts have failed misreably

I left this outfit to the last cause it's my absolute favourite look of hers. The Reem Acra mini dress is just unbelievably beautiful! And whoever her make-up artist is, he/she just took it to the next level (see below)!!! And her legs go on for miles here... Just too fabulous!

Hope you enjoyed that!
